An oceanfront home at 1157 Ponte Vedra Blvd. sold for $18 million, the highest single-family sale recorded in Northeast Florida for the week of Aug. 17–23. The five local transactions totaled more than $42.8 million.Five Ponte Vedra Beach properties accounted for half of the region's top 10 single-family sales that week, according to the Jax Daily Record, which compiles weekly data from Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau and St. Johns counties.
The $18 million property sits on 1.6 acres and spans 6,157 square feet. The St. Johns County Property Appraiser describes a seven-bedroom home with six full bathrooms and one half-bath, a butler pantry, outdoor kitchen, pool, six-car garage, putting green and dune walkover.
The buyer was the Linda A. Corvari Revocable Trust. The sellers were Gabriel A. Rodriguez and the Aztec Vikings Children Irrevocable Trust.
The No. 2 sale, at 993 Ponte Vedra Blvd., went for $16.5 million. The sellers were Matt Millen and Patricia Millen.
Millen, 67, is a former NFL linebacker who won four Super Bowls during 12 seasons with the Raiders, San Francisco 49ers and Washington Redskins. He later served as president and general manager of the Detroit Lions. The St. Johns Citizen described the newly built oceanfront estate as one of St. Johns County's biggest residential deals of the year.
The buyer was the John and Phyllis Patterson Joint Revocable Trust.
The week's other Ponte Vedra Beach sales:
- 281 Plantation Circle S.: $3,125,000. Buyers: Christian B. Ragot Revocable Trust. Sellers: David and Donna Flinn. The 4,705-square-foot home on 0.62 acre previously sold for $1,450,000 in 2019.
- 134 Muirfield Drive: $2,600,000. Buyers: John and Claire Farnsworth. Sellers: Armand R. and Karen B. Benoit. The home spans 4,702 square feet on 0.58 acre.
- 185 Retreat Place: $2,575,000. Buyer: Susan Keegan. Sellers: Bob E. and Alma S. Hillin. The 3,257-square-foot home sits on 0.32 acre.
Two Jacksonville properties also cracked the top five: 5317 Commissioners Drive sold for $3,775,000, and 5305 Bentpine Cove Road sold for $3,127,500.
The week prior, a Ponte Vedra Beach waterfront home on Admirals Way S. sold for $7.4 million, topping the Aug. 10–16 regional list.
St. Johns County remains the most expensive county in the region. The median single-family home price reached $589,030 in July 2026, up 1.8% from a year earlier, according to the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors. NEFAR President Kim Knapp said in the association's Aug. 11 market report that the July market "reflects a healthier balance for both buyers and sellers."
