Micky Dolenz, the last surviving member of the Monkees, will perform at Ponte Vedra Concert Hall on Sunday, Jan. 24, 2027.
The Ponte Vedra Beach stop is part of Dolenz's "60 Years of the Monkees" tour, which marks the 60th anniversary of the band's Emmy-winning NBC sitcom. The show premiered in September 1966. The concert date was among a dozen newly added stops announced by Ultimate Classic Rock on Monday, Oct. 12.
Dolenz's official tour page lists the booking, as does the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall website.
The concert will feature classic Monkees hits performed in chronological order, along with stories and archival footage of Dolenz's late bandmates Davy Jones, Peter Tork and Michael Nesmith. Dolenz sang lead on the group's No. 1 singles "Last Train to Clarksville" and "I'm a Believer," according to Ultimate Classic Rock. The Monkees sold more than 65 million records worldwide, and their first four albums all reached No. 1, according to the concert hall's event page.
In a November 2025 statement announcing the tour, Dolenz reflected on the band's legacy.
"I remain proud of what I've achieved in my time, particularly with my late great and still-beloved Monkee brothers Davy, Peter and Michael," he said. "What I want to do, as the 60th anniversary of that wonderful moment is upon me, is to look back and share with the fans the sheer joy of what we accomplished …"
In a February 2026 interview quoted by Ultimate Classic Rock, Dolenz described how his bandmates remain part of every show. He said he sings songs originally performed by Jones, Tork or Nesmith and plays archival video of their lives together behind him onstage.
Jones died in 2012, Tork in 2019 and Nesmith in 2021. Dolenz launched the anniversary tour earlier in 2026 and has since extended it into 2027 with U.S. and Australian dates.
Ponte Vedra Beach is the second of four U.S. stops in early 2027. The tour opens Friday, Jan. 22, in Fort Lauderdale before heading to Ponte Vedra Beach two days later.
Ticket prices and show time have not been announced. Residents can check the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall website or Dolenz's official tour page for updates.
