Copeland named 2027 tournament chairman
Kevin R. Copeland will serve as the 2027 tournament chairman, succeeding Marc Hassan in the role. Copeland is entering his 11th year as a Players Championship volunteer.
"The PLAYERS has been an important part of my life for the last 11 years, so it's a tremendous honor to serve as tournament chairman," Copeland said in August, when the Ponte Vedra Recorder reported his appointment. "This championship brings together an incredible group of volunteers, and I'm looking forward to working alongside them as we continue to grow the tournament's impact throughout Northeast Florida."
The volunteer leadership team includes First Vice Chair Laura Renstrom and vice chairs Luke Pritchett, Hamilton Neal, Ryan Sitnik and Frank Streva. More than 2,000 volunteers support the event each year.
