The PGA TOUR signed a multi-year deal with Uber Technologies that gives the rideshare giant exclusive sponsorship rights across TOUR events, the organizations announced Monday, Aug. 24, from the TOUR's Ponte Vedra Beach headquarters.

Under the agreement, Uber becomes the Official Rideshare Sponsor and Uber Eats becomes the Official On Demand Food Delivery Sponsor of both the PGA TOUR and PGA TOUR Champions. The partnership launches at the TOUR Championship, which runs Thursday, Aug. 27, through Sunday, Aug. 30, at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta with a $40 million purse.

Dan Glod, PGA TOUR executive vice president of corporate partnerships, said the deal will put Uber branding across the TOUR's digital platforms, tournament activations and fan engagement efforts.

"This new official marketing partnership will help us further enhance the on-site fan experience and support our events logistically, and we are eager to work with Uber to create innovative new ways in which to connect them with our fans and players," Glod said in the TOUR's press release.

Pradeep Parameswaran, Uber's global head of mobility, said the company will build on its experience moving people to and from major events, citing the "millions of fans attending PGA TOUR events throughout the season."

The sponsorship adds to a busy year for corporate deals managed out of Ponte Vedra Beach. The TOUR extended its partnership with TruGreen in April and signed a new Championship Series sponsorship with Sompo in June, according to Sportcal.

Uber also highlighted its Uber Golf product, a seasonal offering launched earlier in 2026 that lets up to four golfers reserve a ride with their clubs up to 90 days in advance.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The TOUR Championship, where the partnership goes live, features the top 30 players in the FedExCup standings competing for a $10 million winner's share.
