More than 2,000 pumpkins cover an acre of lawn at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Ponte Vedra Beach. Tractor rides begin Saturday, Oct. 17.

The Great Pumpkin Patch, in its 26th year at the church on 276 N. Roscoe Blvd., opened Oct. 11 and runs through Halloween. The annual event is the church's largest fundraiser, and for 2026, 10% of net pumpkin proceeds will go to Stop Soldier Suicide, a national nonprofit serving U.S. veterans and service members, according to the Ponte Vedra Recorder.

Pumpkins of every size, shape and color sit on pallets across the front lawn. Inside the church, visitors can browse mini pumpkins, gourds, homemade pickles, jams, jellies, baked goods and the patch's signature pumpkin pies. The pies, baked from scratch using pumpkins from the patch, sell for $12 and can be pre-ordered on-site for later pickup.

Tractor rides around the property run Saturday, Oct. 17, and Sunday, Oct. 18, from noon to 4 p.m. A second round is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 24, and Sunday, Oct. 25, during the same hours.

New for 2026 is a children's story time on Saturday, Oct. 24. Two sessions run from 10 a.m. to noon and noon to 2 p.m., each including a craft activity.

Lord of Life Lutheran Church is also marking its 40th anniversary in 2026.

The patch is open 1 p.m. to dusk Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to dusk Saturdays and 11 a.m. to dusk Sundays. On Halloween, Oct. 31, the patch will be open noon to 2 p.m.
